Paper Back Vinyl
Paper-backed vinyl wallpaper is an excellent choice for decorating ceilings and walls. After applying the wallpaper, it should be allowed to dry for two days. During this time, it should be kept at an optimal temperature of 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. It should also be kept away from the airflow to prevent air bubbles from forming on the surface.
Paper-backed vinyl has pros and cons, but its lower price generally makes it a good choice for many. It can be removed without nicking or using acid-based removers. This type of wallpaper has a smooth, profiled surface that is not easily damaged by moisture. The same technique as standard wallpaper works on paper-backed vinyl.
When choosing paper vinyl wallpaper, it is essential to understand the installation process. When installing vinyl wallpaper, make sure to use special glue. It should be more potent than regular wallpaper glue and contain additives to fight fungi and mildew. Also, the adhesive should be strong enough to prevent fading over time so that the paper-based vinyl wallpaper doesn’t come off quickly. If you decide to move the wallpaper after installation, cut the strips into small pieces so they can be easily removed.
